Pianist Daan Demeyer and drummer Alex Louloudis’ group creates sound alchemy with their stylistic approach and contemporary compositional styles. Jazz musicianship is always their
starting and meeting point. The two met in NYC where they both attended and graduated from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. Since their first meeting, they have been
collaborating and playing together in various ensembles, most notably on Reggie Workman’s Futuristic Concepts Ensemble.
Alex Louloudis is a NYC-based Greek drummer, composer, percussionist and a graduate from The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. He has performed all over the USA
and Europe and has released various albums of his original music. He has studied and performed with music luminaries such as: Michael Carvin, Oliver Lake, Reggie Workman to name a few.
Daan Demeyer is a unique pianistic force. His extremely personal style is providing the undertones of mysticism and ecstasy in every performance. Daan has attended The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and has graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He is currently residing in Brussels, Belgium where he teaches, composes and performs regularly.
